Argentina seek 'perfect' game
Argentina feel they must produce the 'perfect' game if they are to break their Rugby Championship duck.
The Pumas face the All Blacks in Napier on Saturday and have been hard at work ahead of their first match on the Australasian leg of their campaign.
Leonardo Senatore and Lucas González Amorosino spoke on the team's website about what it would take to overcome New Zealand on their home soil, with terms such as "being ready for anything and everything" as well as "we have to produce the perfect game" bandied about this week.
The Pumas are preparing in Auckland, before heading to Napier on Thursday for Saturday's Round Three encounter.
Leonardo Senatore, the Worcester Warriors player, suggested the weather conditions will have a huge influence on the game.
"It may be similar to what happened in South Africa, where we prepared in dry conditions and then we had to adapt," he said of the monsoon-like conditions they encountered in Pretoria in Round One.
"We are expecting rainy conditions, but against New Zealand we must be prepared for everything."
Asked what they are expecting from the opposition at McLean Park, he that playing against New Zealand is "extra motivation" for any player in the world.
"We have the opportunity to take them on in the Rugby Championship and it is a chance to show what we can do and go out and make the best of the opportunity."
Los Pumas coach Daniel Hourcade will announce his team to face New Zealand on Thursday.
