It was the third week involving top Tests amongst top nations. Things will be quieter (= less interesting) from next week.
At Twickenham, the Springboks set a record for victories over England.
There was a match in Limerick during the week which may just have been the best match of 2008. We have grown used to weakened as an adjective to pout in front of the names of teams. This time a weakened New Zealand team played a weakened Munster team. Both sides, full of quality players who were proud and eager, went flat out and the result was in doubt right to the end.
