How Pichot plans to revolutionise Rugby
SPOTLIGHT: Former Argentina scrumhalf Agustin Pichot has been formulating new ideas to modify the landscape of World Rugby.
Pichot who has been serving as World Rugby’s vice-chairman since 2015, has recently launched his campaign to become chairman of World Rugby.
The former Los Pumas scrumhalf has never been one to shy away from revealing his highly debated views and the six-point manifesto, he submitted to World Rugby on Sunday, is no different.
Running against Bill Beaumont, Pichot has promised to shake up the protectionist 'old boys club' with a 'modernised' and 'democratised' governance the MailOnline reported.

Aside from a radically adjusted global callender which include an amended blueprint of the mooted Nations Championship, his six-point plan includes an idea to grow the game with a flagship video game - like the FIFA series for football.
"Rugby is old-fashioned in terms of technology," Pichot told MailOnline.
"I see my kids today and realise the importance of e-sports for the new generations. They play Fortnite, League of Legends, FIFA.
"All of the established sports markets are connected with digital games and that is a huge means of attracting a younger audience. FIFA 2020, NBA 2K20, NFL Madden.
"Rugby hasn't had a decent game since Jonah Lomu Rugby in 1995, so that would be part of the remit for a dedicated World Rugby innovation department.
"You need to think about how you approach the modern fan. Young boys and girls. It's not rocket science."
