Pumas lose their skipper

Argentina will be without their captain Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe on their upcoming European tour after he injured himself playing for Toulon.

The versatile loose forward fractured his elbow in a Top 14 clash with Toulouse, and has subsequently been ruled out of action for the next few months.

"He will soon consult a Marseille professor for an operation. His unavailability is estimated at two to three months," the club said on its website.

The tour of England Wales and Italy in November will be the first for new coach Daniel Hourcade following Santiago Phelan's resignation.

The Pumas failed to win a single match in the Rugby Championship under Phelan's watch, so they will be keen to make a fresh start under Hourcade.
