Statistics - with and without ELVs

Over the past weekend there were six Super 14 matches played with experimental law variations and four Heineken Cup quarterfinals played without experimental law variations. We look at some statistics from the two.

The big difference is in the number of free kicks. There are far, far more in Super 14 and so far more stoppages. But there are also far more tries - more than twice as many.
