No Dombrandt in England squad

SQUAD UPDATE: England head coach Eddie Jones has again opted to leave out in-form Harlequins No.8 Alex Dombrandt after announcing an updated Six Nations squad for Saturday’s trip to face Scotland in Murrayfield.

The calls to include Dombrandt increased following Sunday’s defeat to France, where Jones opted to move Tom Curry to No.8 in place of the injured Billy Vunipola.

However, Jones has stuck to his guns by continuing to ignore Dombrandt as England look to pick up their first win of the campaign in Edinburgh this weekend.

Manu Tuilagi keeps his place in the squad despite concern surrounding his latest groin injury.

The updated 35-man squad includes uncapped Ben Earl, Alex Moon, Fraser Dingwall, Ollie Thorley and Jacob Umaga while Alex Mitchell is included as an apprentice player.
