RFU appoints Chief Financial Officer

NEWS: The RFU has announced the appointment of Francesca Pierce as their Chief Financial Officer.

Francesca will link up with the RFU in early 2025 from SkyShowtime where she is the Chief Strategy Officer.

Prior to her current role she was Chief Financial Officer and held diverse leadership roles spanning finance, operations and growth during her 15-year career.

Francesca will occupy a broad role with responsibility for finance, technology and people.

Additionally she will play an integral part in executing major transformational projects.

This includes the Mens' Professional Game Partnership, Community Game Future programme, RFU organisation-wide digital transformation programme, investment in the women and girls' game and the stadium masterplan.

She will also play a key role on Six Nations and Nations Cup revenue plans.

All of this will be in the context of her focus on financial management, revenue growth and cost discipline.
