Padovani at Toulon after Italian green light

"Padovani can now play in Toulon colours," the Top 14 giants announced after what it called "an imbroglio lasting several weeks".

Padovani, capped 14 times by Italy, joins a Toulon side that kicked off their league campaign under new coach Fabien Galthie with an opening 41-14 victory over Pau on Sunday.
