Clermont president dies
NEWS: Clermont president Eric de Cromieres has died of cancer at the age of 66, the French Top 14 club announced on Thursday.
Under De Cromieres Clermont won their second Top 14 title in 2017, the European Challenge Cup in 2019, and reached European rugby's showcase Champions Cup final in 2015 and 2017.
Clermont's president since 2013 revealed at the start of the month that he had been battling cancer since late last year, with the club telling AFP after a rapid decline he passed away overnight Wednesday.
