Clermont snap up English lock

NEWS: Clermont have snapped up English lock George Merrick from Harlequins for next season, the Top 14 leaders announced Friday.

The 26-year-old Merrick signed a two-year contract starting on July 1 with the option for another year.

The former England Under-20 cap has played 92 games, including 11 this season, for Harlequins, the London club for which he made his debut in 2013.
