France bring in Stade Francais lock for Ireland

SQUAD UPDATE: Stade Francais lock Paul Gabrillagues on Monday replaced injured Racing 92 flank Fabien Sanconnie in the 31-man France squad preparing to face Ireland in the Six Nations on March 10.

The 25-year-old Gabrillagues, who has 11 caps, will compete with Sebastien Vahaamahina and Felix Lambey who started in Saturday's victory over Scotland and Paul Willemse, who has come off the bench in the last two matches.

Sanconnie was one of the eight squad members who were not in the matchday 23 against Scotland.

Prop Etienne Falgoux of Clermont, who replaced injured Dany Priso of La Rochelle for the Scotland game, keeps his place.

The players will train with their clubs until most of the squad reassemble at Marcoussis on Friday.

The exceptions are the other seven men who played no part on Saturday: Morgan Parra, Camille Lopez and Wesley Fofana of Clermont, Pierre Bourgarit, Uini Atonio and Geoffrey Doumayrou of La Rochelle and Montpellier's Yacouba Camara.

They can appear for their clubs in the Top 14 next weekend.
