Lauret fills in for France

Wenceslas Lauret has been called up in the France squad to replace the injured Charles Ollivon ahead of next month's Six Nations opener against Scotland.

 

Bayonne No.8 Ollivon picked up a shoulder injury in a European Challenge Cup game against La Rochelle on Saturday and is likely to be out of action for two weeks.

 

Lauret currently plays for Racing-Metro in the Top 14. He can also play flank and made his debut for the French national team against South Africa in Cape Town on June 12, 2010.

 

The 25-year-old Lauret turned out for France in last year's Six Nations.

 

France start their Six Nations campaign against Scotland on February 7.
