O'Connor back training after heart scare

O'Connor was taken to hospital on February 21 after coming down with the illness following Toulon's 43-13 win at Oyonnax.

Local media reported at the time that the 25-year-old Wallabies star had suffered a heart attack, but coach Bernard Laporte insisted that there was no evidence to suggest the player had a heart condition.

O'Connor trained normally with his teammates at the club's training centre on Tuesday.

The club said in a statement O'Connor had "undergone a series of tests and medical examinations in hospital which proved reassuring and satisfactory."

"His rugby career is in no way called into question," the statement read, adding that they would "take the time to realise all the necessary examinations before the player returns to competition".

Toulon, sitting third in the Top 14, travel to Racing Metro, two points above them in second, on Saturday.
