Servat to lead French BaaBaas
Former France and Toulouse hooker William Servat will come out of retirement for the second time this season and captain the French Barbarians against Japan.
The 34-year-old - capped 49 times and who was a member of the side that lost 8-7 to the All Blacks in last year's World Cup Final - retired at the end of last season bowing out on a high note as Toulouse retained the French title.
Servat, who is now the Toulouse forwards coach but came to the side's aid once this season when facing a crisis with their hookers he played against Stade Francais, will be joined by another former France regular and Toulouse stalwart Yannick Jauzion.
The French BaaBaas, created in 1977, are made up entirely of players from the French championship and place an emphasis on creative and flowing rugby.
