White full-time at Montpellier

World Cup winning coach Jake White has reached an agreement with President Mohed Altrad to stay at Montpellier until 2017, Midi Olympique confirmed on Monday.

White, former Director of Rugby at the Sharks, was brought in on a short-term contract to replace Fabien Galthie who was suspended on December 29 after a string of defeats.

Montpellier have noticeably improved since his time in charge, and White will now remain at the club for the next two years.

He has already been heavily involved in the recruitment of next season's players for several weeks, and is linked to a  number of signings- including players like Nic White, Demetri Catrakilis and Jaques du Plessis.

White will form a brains trust with coach Shaun Sowerby, who also extended his contract until 2017, and Scott Wisemantel, from Lyon.
