Boland keep their President

Ivan Pekeur has been re-elected as the President of the Boland Rugby Union.

The elections took place during the union’s Annual General meeting, which was held at the Boland Stadium in Wellington.

Pekeur, who will serve a 4-year term in this position, held the position since 11 June 2014 after being elected as President at a Special General Meeting.

The position became vacant after former Boland Rugby Union president Francois Davids resigned in order to take up a position on SA Rugby’s Executive Council.

Stephen Jones has been elected as Vice President of the Boland Rugby Union, with the following individuals being elected as additional members to serve on the board of the Boland Rugby Union: Denver Pienaar, Bennie van Rooi, Mannetjies du Plessis, Burton Niemand, Maurice Markus and John Adams.
