Le Roux to join Wasps?

The 26-year-old, who has made 34 appearances for the Springboks, is said to replace outgoing fullback Charles Piutau and join Wallaby star Kurtley Beale and England flyhalf Danny Cipriani as the Premiership outfit's major signings.

According to The Times, the 2014 World Player of the Year nominee has accepted the offer from the club that aims to become a major continental presence in years to come after reaching the Champions Cup semifinals and the Premiership play-offs this season.

The signing of Le Roux would add to the already impressive outside-back trio of Frank Halai, Christian Wade and Elliot Daly.

Wasps Director of Rugby Dai Young has made his desire to increase the side's depth clear as he aims to turn Wasps into a force to be reckoned with.

"My goal as a coach is to have two quality players in every position," he told The Telegraph.

"Not necessarily a number one and a number two but two quality players fighting for every position.

"You can’t have three because you can’t keep everybody happy."
