Rassie: Grant is ready to play for Boks
WATCH as South Africa's Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus opens up about Grant Williams' chances of making the Springbok cut.
Williams will start for the South Africa 'A' team to face the Bristol Bears on Thursday.
The Sharks scrumhalf received the nod ahead of World Cup-winning No.9 Hershel Jantjies following his display against Munster.
Despite the South African side's defeat, Williams was certainly the winner.
He added a much-needed spark from the bench and showed great speed and energy at the breakdown.

Williams will certainly have to produce another stellar performance as he competes not only against Jantjies but against Faf de Klerk, Cobus Reinach and Jaden Hendrikse for a spot in the Springbok set-up.
However, it seems like Williams might be the one to make Springbok cut.
The Sharks star, who made his Bok debut against Wales in July 2022, received a raving endorsement from Rassie Erasmus.
"Grant Williams was a guy who clearly put up his hand and said 'I'm ready to play for Boks'," Erasmus told reporters.
"I don't want to single out guys because the whole selection committee is not here but that is the type of performance we want."
Erasmus also added that matches against Munster and Bristol Bears were great opportunities for players to show what they can do at international level.
"What we look for in a game like this, is for guys to really put up their hand," Erasmus said, adding: "And say even though the team is maybe not winning I am ready to play for the Springboks.
"I think the upcoming match against Bristol is going to be an open running game depending on the weather."
