VIDEO: Dancing part of Kolisi's rehab

WATCH as the Springboks' World Cup-winning captain Siyamthanda Kolisi shows off his virtuoso dance moves - all part of his rehabilitation.

Kolisi is currently on a stringent rehabilitation regime after undergoing surgery at the end of April to repair a partial tear to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee – an injury he suffered while playing for the Sharks against Ireland's Munster.

Coach Jacques Nienaber and Director of Rugby Johan Erasmus both expressed their confidence that Kolisi can make it to and perform at the World Cup with limited game time.

At the weekend Kolisi posted another update on his progress on his social media.

Headlined 'Friday mood' Kolisi said: "I've had tough and challenging days this week but I've tried to let positivity drive me into putting in the work.

"I am embracing the present and discovering joy in the small moments, even during these challenging times.

"Remember, everyone's journey is unique, and it's important to honour your own pace."

The Bok coach, Nienaber, recently said he feels Kolisi is 'on track' to recover in time for the World Cup.

"He is hitting his markers," Nienaber said of the loose forward’s rehabilitation process.

Asked by @rugby365com about a possible deadline for Kolisi’s return, Nienaber said that depends on Kolisi continuing to ‘tick his markers’.

"Do we think he will be available for the World Cup?

"Yes, we do!"
