VIDEO: How Boks reacted to cancelled flight

NEWS: The victorious Springboks had their return flight to South Africa on Sunday cancelled and they reacted in typical South African fashion.

Showing the camaraderie and grit that won them back-to-back World Cups, the Boks chose to entertain fellow travellers with a song and dance.

"Our flight was cancelled," Shanthini Naidoo said on social media, adding: "But there are bright smiles and songs - as only South Africans can do."

"It's after midnight in Heathrow.

"The Springboks are dancing.

"Surreal. We're tired and dirty, and don’t know what time our flight will be rescheduled.

"But the Springboks are dancing."

The Boks are on their way back from London, where they beat Wales 41-13 in a one-off international at Twickenham at the weekend.

The squad to face Ireland in a two-match Test series next month is now to be announced on Tuesday.
