Lions lure Sharks to Ellis Park

The Golden Lions Rugby Union announced the Lions’ 2014 Super Rugby warm-up fixture schedule on Tuesday.


The Lions will get their friendly campaign underway on Friday, January 24 when they will take on the Leopards at Ellis Park. Both an ‘A’ and ‘B’ outfit will play in two trial games on the day.


On Saturday, February 1 the Lions will fly to Port Elizabeth to front the Kings in their second Super Rugby warm-up game.


Finally, the Lions will host the Sharks in their final friendly match on February 7.
