Lions unleash Bok prop on WP

The Golden Lions will field their best available team against Western Province in a warm-up match at Ellis Park on Friday.

In the forwards World Cup-winning Springbok prop CJ van der Linde returns in one of three changes.

The other two changes among the forwards see the return of seasoned campaigners Hendrik Roodt (at lock) and Sevens and Derick Minnie (on the flank).

I the backline there is just one change.

Fullback Chrysander Botha is currently on international duty with the Namibian team.

Ruan Combrinck moves into the starting line-up at No.15.
