No more 'camo Bulls'

The Blue Bulls will not follow their Super Rugby teammates, the Bulls, and play in camouflage.

It has been revealed that they will return to their traditional light blue strip for the Currie Cup competition, in the wake of the shocking pink colourways or camo Super Rugby strips of the last two years.

The jersey is also embroidered with the Blue Bulls' Barberton Daisy.

"The Currie Cup symbolises the long and proud heritage of South African rugby, so it was important for us not to break away from the traditional look of our Currie Cup jersey for that very reason," CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, Barend van Graan, said.

"We firmly believe that the simplicity, yet elegance of the design makes a bold statement."
