Schools Top 20 - 30 May 2018

RANKINGS: Transvalia has continued their spectacular season by claiming their first-ever victory over Monument to produce one of the shock results of the weekend.

They were already above Monnas and stay there, but Oakdale, who won a splendid match with Outeniqua come up while Monnas and Wynberg, both defeated, slipped down a place.

Menlopark and Drostdy were both beaten by teams who could be regarded as of lower rank and they have taken a tumble while Selborne and Garsies have climbed up. Bishops are back in the Top 20 after beating Wynberg while DHS, well beaten by Glenwood, fade out.

The top six teams stay where they are but then there is some movement. Of course, just being there or thereabouts is a huge achievement given the high standard of South Africa's rugby-playing schools and their enthusiasm for the game.
