Challenge Cup refs, Rounds 1 & 2
The European Rugby Cup, who are responsible for Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup rugby, have announced the referees for the first two rounds of the Amlin Challenge Cup which kicks off on Thursday, 10 November 2011.
There will be two matches on that Thursday evening, one refereed by Dudley Phillips of Ireland, the other by Neil Hennessy of Wales.
The 20 teams from eight countries taking part are divided into five Pools.
Pools:
Pool 1: Stade Français, Worcester Warriors, Banca Monte Crociati, Bucharest Wolves
Pool 2: Toulon, Newcastle Falcons, Petrarca Rugby, Lyon
Pool 3: London Wasps, Bayonne, Femi-CZ VEA Rovigo, Bordeaux-Bègles
Pool 4: Perpignan, Newport Gwent Dragons, Exeter Chiefs, I Cavalieri Prato
Pool 5: Sale Sharks, Brive, Agen, La Vila
La Villa are from Spain.
