JWC Referees, Day 3

It's the end of the IRB U20 JWC pool matches this Tuesday, which will mean an end of a competitive challenge for some. Glen Jackson is probably in charge of the match with the highest profile - England vs South Africa.

This match was originally down for Danie Craven Stadium on Stellenbosch but the ground condition has taken a hammering after six matches, the last three in Friday's wet. The ground, in fact, was not in great condition at the start of the tournament, for it is much used.

Danie Craven, whose statue is next to the ground, would not have been happy to see his place abandoned.

The matches which would have been there have been switched to Cape Town Stadium for this round.
