Sharks bolster matchday squad with big names for Glasgow clash

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Sharks head coach Sean Everitt has revealed a strong matchday squad for Saturday's United Rugby Championship Round Five clash against Glasgow in Durban.

Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth will make his debut for the Sharks in the No.4 jersey on Saturday.

Etzebeth has been a key and very popular signing for the Sharks and he will play alongside several Springboks who are back in URC action following the conclusion of the Rugby Championship.

There will also be another debutant amongst the loose trio in Vincent Tshituka, with Phendulani Buthelezi returning at No.8 in the other changes amongst the forwards.

Jaden Hendrikse takes over from an injured Grant Williams at scrumhalf, while Anthony Volmink comes in for Thaakir Abrahams on the wing.

Marnus Potgieter replaces Rohan Janse Van Rensburg at outside centre to complete the changes to the starting XV.

Springboks Mbongeni Mbonambi, Retshegofaditswe Nche, Siyamthanda Kolisi, and Makazole Mapimpi are expected to make a collective impression off the bench.
