VIDEO: The Stormers' winning try that 'nobody' saw

WATCH as @rugby365com brings you - with the assistance of contributor @AngyboyJ - the match-winning try by the Stormers that nobody saw.

The Stormers scored two late tries to halt the Bulls’ impressive home record – a 30-26 win in a thrilling encounter at Loftus Versfeld at the weekend.

The match-winner, by replacement scrumhalf Paul de Wet, was not seen by anybody outside the stadium.

In fact, even a few inside, including Stormers coach John Dobson, missed the sensational score.

A television blackout, because of technical issues at the broadcaster, meant the public was not privy to the dramatic finish in Pretoria - a result that ended Jake White's 24-match winning run at Loftus.

An attack, starting from within the Stormers half by replacement Warrick Gelant, saw Sevens star Seabelo Senatla put De Wet away for the score.

However, other than the 2,000-odd spectators (a COVID-restricted number) in the stadium, nobody saw the action and had to listen to the broadcaster's in-studio panel discussing trivialities, rather than give live updates of the dramatic finish.

@AngyboyJ sourced the footage for @rugby365com's reader, which we now share with you!

* Also watch the Stormers coach, Dobson, admit he missed the finish as well.
