Is this the worst tackle ever?

Welcome to rugby365.com's new bi-weekly feature, Extra-time, where we scour the internet to find you some funny bits and bobs... and also some serious moments - all of which help to make this great game of rugby union such a popular sport.

We have compiled this first edition of Extra-time on our own (it's brilliant, isn't it?!), but would love some reader feedback as we move ahead.

Feel free to leave a comment or suggestion for us below, otherwise drop us an email on rugby@sportsmedia365.com and we will take a look at your comments.

Until next time, here is our first offing...

TUILAGI TORPEDO:

Is this the worst-ever tackle?!

Decide for yourselves as Samoan powerhouse - and current Perpignan player - Henry Tuilagi smashes a La Rochelle player in Top 14 action this past weekend.

If you thought Counties Manukau loose forward Fritz Lee's tackle was a biggie last week... well, you ain't seen nothing yet, folks!

TWO TICKETS TO SONNY'S GUN SHOW...

A lot has been said, and written, about rugby league convert Sonny Bill Williams.

The 25-year-old is already making an impact in New Zealand's ITM Cup for Canterbury and, at 1,93m and 108kg, it is easy to understand why!

We have to know, however... his obvious size and playing talents aside, are there bigger 'guns' in New Zealand rugby at present?!

Move over Jerry Collins?!

NAME GAME:

Staying in New Zealand... Has anybody seen the name of Canterbury's prop - Rodney Ah You?

Yes, that's his surname - Ah You.

Mind you, it's still not as bad as Delhi chief minister Shiela Dikshit...

SEEN ON RUGBY365's COMMENTS SECTION THIS PAST WEEK:

"Are there enough absas in the team?"
- Speartackle (after a Currie Cup team annoucement)

RUMOUR(S) OF THE WEEK:

Rassie's denying it... WP are denying it, but why have SA Rugby not denied anything at all?

Well, maybe because there IS truth to the rumour that Rassie Erasmus will, indeed, soon be unveiled as the new Springbok 'helper'?!

See Sunday's article HERE.

THE P DIVVY CORNER:

No fun piece - or corner - would be complete without a Peter de Villiers gaffe.

In this video clip - after last year's second BI& Lions Test - Divvy tries to defend Schalk Burger's eye gouge on winger Luke Fitzgerald. He makes a good enough start... and then, well, he goes off on a slight tanget.

* Let us know of anything good that we might have missed this week - heck even if we made a bad prediction or a mistake on our own site!
