Super 14: Round 14 Predictions
It is that time of the week again, when we venture out into the dangerous arena of Super 14 predictions. However, this week there is a difference - the last weekend with a full round of league matches, seven opportunities for points.
From next week it is play-offs and even though we will have double value (two points for a correct team and two points for a margin of five or less), it still only gives us a total of 12 points for all the play-off matches.
It is thus the last opportunity for somebody to make a big move.
With Johan Greyling still dominant in first place in our 'readers versus staff' prediction competition, it is the race for second place that is attracting all the attention!
Phil Coetzer has sneaked ahead in the runners-up race, but all eyes will be on Rudolf Mehl and Steve Farrell - who are both just one point behind.
Can defending champion John Granger make a late charge for second place? Can Jan de Koning save some face and move out of last place?
It all makes for some interesting predictions!
