2012 Craven Week match officials

Craven Week is important for players, especially ambitious players; so it is important for match officials, their first chance of exposure and, more importantly, a chance to learn lots and lots through discussion, instruction and observation.

Included amongst those who can teach the match officials valuable lessons are André Watson, who refereed two World Cup Finals and is now South Africa's refereeing boss, Tappe Henning, the former Test referee who is an IRB referees' selector, and Jaco Peyper, the current Test referee who refereed three Tests last month.
