Boland back-to-back champions
The clash marked Boland's third consecutive appearance in the LSEN final.
Last year they defeated Western Cape neighbours, Western Province, 25-12 in Worcester, and in 2014 they defeated SWD 45-3 in Potchefstroom.
Boland and the Falcons were among three teams that remained unbeaten after the second round of matches on Tuesday. The Free State was the third unbeaten side.
Boland dominated the proceedings as soon as the match got underway, the champions registered 25 unanswered points.
However, the Falcons eventually broke the deadlock by scoring two converted tries of their own.
Despite Falcons' great determination, Boland just proved too strong and before the final wistle they sealed the victory with another try.
The final score 30-14 to the men in black and gold.
Meanwhile, the unbeaten Free State suffered their tournament's first defeat against Western Province.

Western Province secured a 51-5 victory.
Meanwhile, Golden Lions have redeemed themselves by securing a 15-0 victory over Blue Bulls EE.
In turn the Blue Bulls registered a 48-5 win over the Griffons.
Eastern Cape and SWD Eagles also finished their tournaments on a high note, with Eastern Cape beating the Pumas 39-23 and SWD Eagles beating Golden Lions EE 56-25.
The Leopards secured a 24-10 victory over KZN.
