Glenwood dominate KZN teams

The teams are announced for the Craven Week for High Schools, the Academy Week and the Grant Khomo Week for Under-16s.

Of the 88 players chosen, 30 are from Glenwood. They are followed by Maritzburg College with 15 and then DHS and Michaelhouse with seven each.

In days of yore there were Northern Natal Schools sides. If they still existed and sent three teams to the three weeks, they would have sent 66 boys. Now they send five - three from Pionier, one from Sarel Cilliers in Glencoe and one from Ladysmith.

Of the team going to Craven Week this year, Monde Hadebe, Brynard Stander and Patrick Lambie were at the 2007 Craven Week.

The Craven Week this year is at Affies in Pretoria. KwaZulu Natal play the Griffons in their first match, on the Tuesday.
