KZN choose provincial sides
Two of the teams will go to Craven Week as KwaZulu-Natal and KwaZulu-Natal Country Districts. The country districts side approximates to the old Northern Natal.
Of the 69 players in the three KwaZulu Natal sides, 29 of the players come from Glenwood - nine in the Craven Week team, eight in the Academy Week team and 12 in the Grant Khomo team. Add the two Under-18 sides and you get 17 Glenwood players - more than a 1st XV. Such is the school's strength in KwaZulu Natal, as indeed it was in Fukuoka, Japan when they won the Sanix World Youth Rugby tournament in April.
Of the Craven Week side, 10 had played for KwaZulu Natal teams in 2015.
The only one who is back from last year's Craven Week was Cham Zondeki, who was at the Grant Khomo Week in 2014 and before that at the Under-13 Craven Week when he was at Dale and playing for Border.
Four were at the Academy Week last year - Mayibongwe Maduna, Quintin Vorster, Sibonakaliso Dubazane, and Cameron Ritchie.
Six were at the Grant Khomo Week in 2015 - Tonderai Nduzo, Sanela Nohamba, Pepsi Buthelezi, JJ van der Mescht, Dylan Richardson and Fezo Mbatha
