SA Schools Fixtures in 2019

There will be two South African Schools team chosen from the Under-18 Craven Week which ends in Bloemfontein on 6 July 2019.

Apart from the SA Schools side there will be an SA Schools A team (where A = B). The extra team has been chosen as Argentina will be an Under-18 team to add to the annual participants of England, France and Wales. It will be the first time that a team from Argentina will be in action.

The six teams will take part in a tournament of three matches on each of three playing days at three different venues in the Western Cape.

In 2018, France beat England, South Africa (28-21) and Wales, South Africa beat England (41-22) and Wales (43-40), and England beat Wales.

The SA Schools team, which will be coached by the Golden Lions’ Mzwakhe Nkosi, and SA Schools A team, which will be coached by Border’s Phiwe Nomlomo, are expected to be announced during the course of next week.
