SA Schools play Italy
Bloemfontein encounter
The 2006 South African Schools side will play against Italy Under-18 in Bloemfontein on Saturday - a match the South Africans would be expected to win.
Last year SA Schools beat France Under-18 52-18 but then lost to the SA Academy side 30-24.
Italy Under-18 started their tour of South Africa with a 25-10 victory over Pretoria Boys High on Tuesday but South African Schools will be a much better proposition for the Italians who lost to Wales only 18-13 during the Northern Hemisphere season. They will have the advantage of having played together.
Next Tuesday the Italians play Golden Lions Schools and end with a match against the South African Schools B side in Witbank on Friday.
