Under-12 tournament, Day Three results

Day three was the final day of the Under-12 Interprovincial tournament held in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal.

Once again it was a very successful and exciting tournament with an extremely high standard of rugby being played. Fortunately there were no serious injuries and the organisers look forward to a tournament of even greater proportions next year.

Match 1: Griquas vs Golden Lions, 7-5

In a very entertaining match Griquas managed to beat a never say die Golden Lions side by 7 points to 5.

With the Pumas dominating the first half, and scoring all the points, beating a spirited Free Sate side by 17 to 0.

In a very exciting match the Leopards just managed to obtain the victory through two brilliant tries by Ruan Minnaar (11).

In a scrappy final, where both teams kicked to much possession away, the Blue Bulls managed to scrape home by 7 points to 5.
