Who will run SA Schools?
Instead of appointment by the SA Schools executive committee, as happened in the past, those wanting management posts with SA Schools are to apply this year.
The process of interviews started on Friday, the non-playing day during the week.
The only required qualification is that the candidates must be schoolmasters.
There is speculation about possible candidates for the posts of manager and coach - Poerie van Rooyen of HTS Middelburg and the Pumas, Roelf Meyer and Ingo Machts of Grey College and the Free State, Janse van der Ryst of Hoërskool Upington and Griquas Country Districts and Dean Moodley of Kearsney College and KwaZulu-Natal.
The SA Schools team will play in a quadrangular tournament with France, England and Wales in August after trials at the end of July.
