HTS Drostdy 13-8 Worcester Gim

More than 7 000 spectators ensured an amazing atmosphere at HTS Drostdy.

It was not long before the hosts dominated the first half and were the first to cross the try-line to take a 5-0 lead.

The hosts kept attacking and were soon rewarded with another try, while Worcester struggled to get in the game. Despite having two penalty kick attempts, the visitors failed to register any points on the board.

Drostdy took a 10-0 lead at the break.

Worcester continued the second half in same fashion - failing to convert any possession into points. The visitors’ best chance came in the second half but handling errors in front of the try-line just added to the team's dismay.

Worcester eventually crossed the try-line through reliable captain Charl Schoeman. They later added an additional three points through Gurshwin Wehr’s boot.

However, Drostdy had the last say with a penalty that sealed the game 13-8.
