Captain's Profile: Luke Gillitt
Apart from contesting for the Classic Clash win, the two schools will be playing for the Dowker Trophy, donated by a father and a son - the father a Weston Old Boy, the son a Treverton Old Boy.
Thus far, Weston have had an amazing record against Treverton. Winning the 2015 and 2016 editions of the Classic Clash.
"Last year's Classic Clash a [26-10 win against Treverton] has to be the highlight of my rugby career. To win the Dowker Trophy was an amazing feeling. And to win it for the third time, would be indescribable.
"It is a really important clash in Mooi River," Gillitt said.
Weston's first XV are an experienced side and they have been remarkable throughout the season. The team have won all five of their 2017 fixtures and are oozing with confidence heading into the Classic Clash.
"Thus far, we have had an outstanding season, we won all out matches and hopefully on Saturday, we will stretch the unbeaten run to six.
"We are heading into this match with several senior players, and only missing one first XV player," he added.
The 17-year-old prop enjoyed two seasons in the first XV jersey and has an opportunity to add winning a Classic Clash as captain to his list of memories as a Weston pupil.
"Being named captain is a privilege, my decision-making ability has helped be to be a good leader. As a captain, I want to inspire my team and build the team's confidence.
"Thus, my message to the team is to remain calm and not get distracted by the hype. We should treat this match like any other on our fixture list," he added.
The Matriculant's future plan is to go work in the United States of America in combine harvesting.
