Captain's profile: Mason Brooks
In the last encounter between the sides, Ukhanyo emerged victorious, however Brooks - along with his team - are eager to strike back.
"Last year, unfortunately Ukhanyo beat us, however this year we hope to improve and be the best team on the field. Hopefully we will take the cup home," Brooks said.
In terms of the players selected for the Classic Clash, the captain acknowledge that they will be fielding a relatively young and inexperienced side.
"We are a relatively new team. Some first-choice players are missing, while some matriculated and these type of changes does have an effect on how we play and how the coach has to structure the team," he added.
The 17-year-old, grade 10 learner is anticipating a tough match against Ukhanyo.
"Ukhanyo plays basic rugby but they are known to have some great skills," he stated.
The captain emphasized the importance of discipline and focus.
"We need to be focused, disciplined and just play the game to the best of our ability if we want to be victorious. Rugby is a legendary sport. It is the kind of sport that inspires me and many more.
"One of the greatest highlights of my rugby career was waiting impatiently for the team announcement and hearing coach calling my name to say I will be representing the school.
Having to lead matriculants makes his job a little bit more difficult but there has to be something special about this young man to be handed such a massive responsibility.
