FNB Top 20 - 30 May
Instability down below
Glenwood and Framesby come into the FNB Top 20 this week for the first time this year, two sides who have been playing well.
We have been doing the FNB Top 20 for nearly eight years. There has not so far been such an unstable year as this one, which means that there are many schools so close to each other that the decision is hard and a small fluctuation can make a big difference.
There us a change at the top as well where Affies beat Waterkloof who had earlier beaten them. As a result we have slipped Waterkloof down a little and Affies up an ;little and joined them on fourth.
Paarl Gim move up. They are playing Outeniqua this weekend, just at a time when Outeniqua are suffering injuries - the common lot of rugby teams.
Maritzburg College lost to Westville this last weekend by an intercept try near the end. We have both teams where they were but Glenwood and Framesby come in.
Tygerberg move up a spot.
In the pressure group Kearsney and Nelspruit are knocking hard on the door at present.
