Graeme outclass gutsy Gill

They would’ve wanted to produce much of the same quality on their home field, which is exactly what they did against Gill College on Somerset Field this past Saturday.

Graeme scored from the first play of the day to set the tone for the game ahead.  Graeme seemed to have the upper hand even though they left a few try-scoring opportunities out there in the first half.  Graeme led 22-12 at half time after Gill scored an intercept try just before the break.

In the second half, all the Graeme passes seemed to go to hand and they blew the Gill team away with some superb attacking skills.  Running the ball from everywhere the Graeme side seemed unstoppable as they piled on the tries to run out eventual winners 70-22.

Graeme love the fixture against Gill because it sees both Junior and Senior teams playing together. Gill seemed to edge Graeme in the Junior School games, while Graeme ended on top this year, in the Senior School games.
