Graeme too good for Nico Malan

After the 12-12 draw between these two teams in Humansdorp last year one would’ve expected another tight encounter, however it was the complete different situation this year.

From the start Graeme dominated proceedings to record a 46-10 victory.

The Graeme College first XV was relentless in the first half as they played with the wind and Nico Malan struggled to get out of their own half.

Even though Graeme did make some unforced errors early on in the game they soon got into their running and produced some moments of brilliance as they led 27-0 at the break.

Nico Malan struck back twice early on in the second half to bring the score to 27-10.

Thereafter Graeme crossed the try line three times to make the final score 46-10.

Matthew Robertson and Phely Ngoma each crossed the try line twice while Bukhosi Mhlambiso had a great game for Graeme scoring 21 points.

Graeme College will take confidence from the game and look forward to the challenge against Queens College next Saturday.
