Grey final day summaries
The Grey High School Rugby Festival end4ed in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday 28 March. It was a great fesitival, the opening day's rain notwithstanding.

The well organised Louis Botha side was eventually rewarded with their first victory of the festival when they defeated the “fiery” Ithembelihle side by 26- 0.

Match: Grey High 25 (13) vs Maritzburg College 24 (17)
Grey High School got out of jail when they narrowly defeated Maritzburg College by 25 -24. The lead changed hands throughout the game, with a last minute penalty for Maritzburg College narrowly missing, giving Grey their third victory of the festival. Maritzburg had clearly done their homework and seemed prepared for what Grey threw at them. Maritzburg dominated the line-outs and looked dangerous in midfield, but it was the pace of the Grey backline that won it for them at the end. Tries for Grey come from speedsters, Sergeal Petersen and Luyanda Odolo who both scored two tries on the day.

Michaelhouse ended the festival on a high note by defeating a solid Daniël Pienaar side 22-5. In doing so Michaelhouse maintained their 100% record at the festival with wins over St Andrew's and Nico Malan earlier in the week.

Durban High School came back strongly in the second half to lose narrowly to Nico Malan by 24 points to 27, after Nico Malan had lead 19 – 3 at the break. Selvyn Davids, who had a good festival, was again on form, scoring 17 of the Nico Malan sides points
