HTS Bellville Technical Tournament

Day 1 Results

HTS Bellville's tournament for technical schools started on 1 April with matches on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.

The schools taking part are HTS Bellville, HTS Newton (Port Elizabeth), HTS Louis Botha (Bloemfontein) and Langenhoven Gimnasium (Oudtshoorn)

There are rest days on Sunday and Tuesday when the players will go to Ratanga Junction and Hout Bay where they will go to Seal Island. They will also do Dragon Boat Racing.

Both of Saturday's matches were exciting right to the end as no team caved in.

HTS Bellville vs HTS Louis Botha, 22-7

At half-time the score was 10-7 to HTS Bellville and that's how it stayed till the home side's forwards took over in the last eight minutes and scored two tries.

Langenhoven Gimnasium scored the winning points in the last minutes after a driving movement when they were down 8-7.
