Oakdale edge Augsburg
The home team needed two tries by tireless No.8 Jandré Rudolph to subdue a very game Augsburg Gym side 10-6 on the second day of the Oakdale Rugby Festival on Saturday, 24 March.
While Diamantveld cantered home 21-3 against Hermanus in the main game, the most remarkable result of the day went, arguably once again, to Stellenbosch, who disposed of Western Province Premier B Brackenfell 26-0.
The Oak Town Okes have been bubbling under for several years now, but it looks like they're really set to erupt in 2012.
Would it be presumptuous to suggest that a few places in the Boland Craven Week side could be on the cards ?
In other games Durbanville and Monument Park improved on their opening-day performances and there was some joy for Border schools supporters, although Port Rex couldn't halt Vredendal's relentless progress.
