Paarl Boys' High beat SACS in Paarl

Match report

At half-time in Paarl  on  Saturday the home side led by a penalty - 3-0. SACS had effectively closed down all their scoring opportunities.

But the constant pressure eventually told and the individual brilliance of scrumhalf Conrad Hoffman eventually unlocked the brave and well organised SACS defence.

That Paarl eventually won 29-0  is a fact but what is also true is that the score flattered them and they knew they had been in a terrific contest when the final whistle was blown by Jacques Stander, who handled the game in his usual efficient manner.

SACS  would have learned that in big games opportunities to score must be taken when on offer!

Scorers:

Cons: Conrad Hoffmann 3
Pen: Conrad Hoffman
