In Pretoria Waterkloof hosted the North-South matches.

Paarl Gim played against powerful Garsfontein, winners of the last two Beeld Trophies, a school which had nine players in the Blue Bulls Craven Week sided, another two in the Academy Week team and another five in the Grant Khomo side. Paarl Gim won 46-17, helped, no doubt, when a Garsfontein player was redcarded when the score was just 5-3. Gim scored eight tries to two.

Boland Landbou also played a side with a great reputation amongst South African schools and beat them 65-21. Last year Dr EG Jansen of Boksburg had 11 players at Craven Week, eight at Academy Week and seven at the Grant Khomo Week. Landbou scored 10 tries to three.
