Port Alfred Derby

In Port Alfred, a place for sea, river and holiday, there will be the serious matter of an FNB Classic Clash on Friday when Alexandria High plays Ukhanyo High.

It will not be a runaway match. Last year Ukhanyo won 9-8. It was the first time in 20 years that they had beaten their neighbourly rivals.

2013 Experience

Alexandria have five players back from the team that post surprisingly last year - Flinn Cannon, who has moved from fullback to flyhalf this year, Harry Miles, who moved from centre to fullback, flanks Lee-Roy Coeries and Craig Jacobs and prop  Marcel Mey.

Ukhanyo have eight players back from the team which won last year -  Siyabulela Ntantiso, who kicked the three penalties that won the match last year, Athenkosi Matebese, Luvo Dyantyi,  Mphumezi Magobiyana, Athenkosi Boto,  Skade Anele and Athenkosi Gongqoba.
